i'm on the other side of the Verdasco match. I know he's on home soil, but Tim has played his best tennis recently. Tim also has a stellar record against lefties, (alto he has lost to Fernando).

gl today pal!!!!!!

1. T Henman (GBR) over D Ferrrer (ESP)- tough not to go back to the in form Brit so i will. A number of factors favor Tim here: David is not playing on his surface of choice. 7-14 since 2001 on this surface, yucky for a player inside the top 50. Tim is 23-13 on this surface since '01. Form? David is in poor form--having lost 2 of his last 3 matches TO F Lopez and M Gicquel, ouch. Tim is clearly playing his best tennis of '06 having won 7 of 9 including impressive wins over Ancic, Murray and yesterday not losing serve to Verdasco.
Tim also played well from the baseline yesterday. He'll have to do more of that today as Ferrer is much better than Verdasco from the back. However, Tim is an attacker of course, he comes to the net, David does not have a good history with serve and volleyers.

These two have never played each other, and David is playin' on home soil here

-- also took Del Potro +3.5 games (got it at a much different vig than now, its -190 now at 5d!!!)
--like Vaidisova over Golovin but will back off, sticking with only the two plays

gl all!!!!!!!!

What about the choke job by Juan Ignacia Choka? Both sets he was up 5-3 and serving for the set and both times he got broken. If it gets to a TB he is +2500 to win it.

Note-- in my write-up I posted Ferrer is 7-14 on this surface (indoor hardcourt). SORRY, that is incorrect, it should read 9-10 (he is 7-14 in indoor carpet, an enirely different beast). Again, sorry.

yep syddiggers. Good for madcapper tho, he has Robredo.

gl to us with Del Potro. Of course, if Pim PIm is 'on' were in trouble. I have it on the games line and i believe one set will go a tiebreaker, as the massive serving Swede is a terrible returner of serve. WILL BE interestign to see the how tall, skinny Del Potro handles a MASSIVE server. The Aregentian has recent wins over Mathieu (in qualies), Ginepri and Moya--how can i not back him Vs a poor retuner of serve like JJ, giving me 3.5 games?

I laid the -130 about JJ not winning in straight sets on Betfair also. Lets hope his shoulder has pulled up a little sore from a busy week last week, and that is head is still a little sore from his celebrating.

Can you ( or anyone ) tell me why JJ did not have to qualify for this Masters events considering he is ranked #292? Players with a lot hugher ranking than him i.e Del Potro and Mathieu had to go through qualies, why not JJ?

Pardon my spelling on this post, it is atrocious. :drink: From here on in I will swallow my pride and use the spellcheck.

Sorry guys but I really think Henman will have a letdown and the Spaniars will take it. Give me Ferrer as a solid dog at +140.

Tursonov did ease 30 or 40 cents at Pinny and played like it. Im growing a little impatient with him also, and every time I think he is ready to take the next step he throws in a shocker. He is fast becoming a " look but dont touch in my book ( and wallet ) ".
